Berlin-based singer, songwriter and composer Oihane Roach tells stories of healing, love and belonging. Born in Hamburg, her musical journey began with piano and choir singing as a teenager. Her love for vocal layering still shapes her sound today: She often performs with a loop machine, building live vocal arrangements in real time, solo or alongside fellow musicians.
With a warm voice and poetic lyrics, her songs blend indie folk with pop-soul and feel like honest conversations with yourself – tender, unhurried and carrying a soft serenity.
Since her debut EP Patterns (2021), Oihane has continued to grow as an independent artist, including a Musicboard residency in Accra, Ghana, where she co-created the collaborative album Tapestry through the organisation Black Girls Glow. Her second EP The Revolution Starts In Our Hearts was released in 2025. Her latest singles Looking Back and Goodbye offer a first glimpse of her upcoming EP A Tender Room, expected this summer.
